when i first started this piece i experimneted alot. i started off with painting the polar bear in grey, blue, black and white mono tone color. i began to realize that i was using to much paint at once so the peice would not blend with other colors. i decieded to change the style up and dry brush the painting. i deiceded to do a background that had a dark sky with lightning in the background. i came to realize that the background did not mash up wit the piece, it was not moving people eyes around the page so i decided to turn back to my original plan and put a sunset in the background of the piece and it came out nicely.
i thinjk the final pioece moves the viewers eye around the page and also leaves the viewer questioning and wondering what the piece is about. although, the piece keeps the viewer questioning and wondering after putting two & two together (the sunset and the polar bear) the viewer will eventually see what i am trying to convey through the piece.
