Honoring
Our assignment was to honor someone but, the someone who we had to honor could not be a relative. i decided to honor my middle school art teacher Mrs. Warner. she played a big role in getting me into B.A.A. Mrs. Warner saved up all of my art pieces from the sixth grade to the eight. she made a portfolio for me. She pushed me to come to audition and i got in. so i believe if it was not for her i would have not made it here to Boston arts academy. for this project i decided to make a "bookframe" that held calligraphy inside because i always remembered Mrs. Warner drawing allot of calligrapher while in her class. The book is going to have layers of pictures of me growing from the 8th grade till where i am at now. so far i restarted my project by taking the piece apart. the original book that i had was done but the craft was not so neat. the book looked "plasticy" due to the hot glue that i used to glue the pages together of the book. this time when i started the project over i used the saw tool to cut into the book, using the saw tool was very annoying because the dust was constantly getting up into my nose. after an hour and a half using the saw tool FINALLY completed cutting into the book.
